Hurricane relief supplies unloaded at night

Two Miami volunteers loaded a truck with food and drove 11 hours into the mountains of southwestern Haiti to reach L'Asile, a hurricane ravaged community cut off for 9 days by flooded roads. By the time they arrived it was late at night. They unloaded the truck with the help of solar lamps Thompson brought with her. Small, volunteer groups say they are faster and more efficient than the big international aid agencies.
