Desde su inicio en 1994, la Fundación Latinoamericana de Acción Social (FLAS) ha brindado educación, asesoramiento y pruebas de VIH/ETS, referencias de tratamiento para latinos afectados por el VIH/SIDA.
En toda la comunidad, organizamos seminarios educativos y ferias de salud en una variedad de lugares, incluidas iglesias, organizaciones cívicas, consulados e incluso en las esquinas de las calles.
Nuestro equipo de expertos y voluntarios van a donde sea que se necesiten para brindar la educación y los servicios preventivos que finalmente revertirán la tendencia de las tasas de crecimiento de la infección por VIH/SIDA entre los latinos en el área metropolitana de Houston.

Since its inception in 1994, the Latin American Foundation for Social Action (FLAS) has provided HIV/STD education, counseling and testing, and treatment referrals for Latinos affected by HIV/AIDS.
Throughout the community, we host educational seminars and health fairs in a variety of locations, including churches, civic organizations, consulates, and even on street corners.
Our team of experts and volunteers go wherever they are needed to provide the education and preventive services that will ultimately reverse the trend in the growth rates of HIV/AIDS infection among Latinos in the Greater Houston area.
